My guess is that you guys got it all wrong, and that the new product actually is called Octa-Rack: a new improved, heavy steel rack ear kit for the TurboMidi, taking up eight rack units with plenty of space to decorate with stickers and buttons.

Excited to see what it is, though somewhat nervous that it'll depend on one having either an MD or MnM to use... since I don't have either.

have you ever used reaktor ?
do you fancy creating patches on a 2" screen and left/right buttons ??
then assign the knobs to the patch etc etc ? where does this lead to?
imo, if you want 'reaktor in a box', get a laptop and, hm, reaktor?
it just doesnt make sense as an elektron box, apart from the fact that things like reaktor dont really sell well at all....
such open-end tools make sense on a computer, from like every point of view...
elektron boxes are self-contained instruments. something very different imo
