for me the MPCs have always been the worse for their lack of XOX style sequencing, imagine if roland had done a sampling version of the tr808/909 .. how awesome would that have been (probably)

but the killer feature of the MPC is of course that lovely 4 x 4 drum pad ... elektron should do one as a separate box for the OT with tight integration, 4 x 4 and XOX programming = AWESOMENESS

As per youtube vid, its unfinished, fx missing etc. Just a prototype on show. The demo was good enough as proof of concept for live manipulation of audio. MD for live tweaking of beats, MM for your strings and OT for heavy manipulation in stereo. Without inbuilt synthesis its gonna reply on whatever else you have lying about but it does look like a fun live tool. Wonder how many would be ready for Q4 though...
