Cheap round buttons was because it reminded me of the round buttons on the Boss SP-505, cheap n nasty buttons on that one.

the need for USB has really been highlighted when working on the collabs... turbo midi is a PITA, I'll undertand even less why thy developed this if they eventually add USB to the MD anyway.

compact flash would mean more sample space on the MD? I really hope they offer upgrades if so.

I quite like the look, but not 100% sure if this is final design, for instance no plastic around the LCD........

I think the + versions might be cosmetic changes and perhaps USB? EDIT: or perhaps not!
