I ended up selling it locally, as it had no bids after 7 days. Got quite a flurry of emails from people saying things like, "I was going to bid at the last second, why did you withdraw it?" Snooze you loose I guess. If they had just bid what they were willing to pay when they saw it, I wouldn't have (actually couldn't have) withdrawn it.
One of the failings of eBay. The proxy bid is a great idea, but human nature derails it by people thinking they can get a better deal by waiting for the last second. I had 26 watchers on that item and not one bid!
