Hi all,

Does annyone know a way to change a machine on a track through a midi command.
For example; i'm playing A TRX base drum on BD, and want to change it to a E12 base drum whithout going in to the edit menu.

it won't do it by default on any of the firmwares. you need to check the MIDI spec in the back of the MD manual to see if there is a sysex command that will let you swap machines. i'm pretty sure that command doesn't exist on the MD. if it does you will soon be able to create a firmware that does this.
