I saw the new roland stuff, and was thoroughly unimpressed. I really don't see the attraction for motorized faders on a groovebox...I must be missing something.

On the surface...the machine doesn't look that bad. But for $1899 for the rack and $1999 for the keyboard version...it better sound on par with the Elektron stuff. It better not sound like an Electribe. I'm sorry, but I don't trust most of the gear pumped out by the mainstream synth makers.
