Kirlian - Ra is the better package for sure compared with Ethno. Some people find Play causes them system trouble... I believe mainly Win users... no problems for me at least running the Mac version.
Silk is stunning sounding yet has fewer instruments, so is probably not a good all round choice, but I think EW has a 2 for 1 sale on until the end of the month (hey, no pressure, you've got 1 day!).
Lots of people praise EW's Ethno World 4 as an all round package as well, but I've never used it.
