Yep...in anticipation...I've been at the forum. It is no secret there that I do not own one. I owned a MPC2000 at one point. I'll be buying it in a few weeks. I ordered Metasonix TM-1 and am trying to get a Yamaha CS01 first.

The Mpc1000 seems to be ery popular at the moment since it comes back in a lot of wishlists.
Is this entirely based on the upcoming OS 2.0? Or do people really ythink it's that good?
Hardly seen it hyped before and suddenly it's everywhere.....

I think its the OS, and people are discovering its function as a sequencer as well.

For me I would buy it even without the new OS. I just want an MPC again. The 1000 appeals to me since it is cheap, uses CF cards, and it can hook up to the computer via USB.
