I am seriously thinking of buying me one but I am wondering about the latency issue with it. I plan on using it with my MnM so if anyone owns both it would be a great help if you could inform me on what to expect. thank you!

well, when I get my midibox up and running, I will do a latency test. They should be about the same, because according to Daniel, the SID chip itself is responsible for this, not the OS or hardware.

It's not really much of an issue at all. There's an option in the OS which effectively kills the latency.
