How many units are build so far, if I remember correctly there are 150 beta units. So whats the number so far?

This is a really shame. I hope it because of prize of it that people don't buy it enough. I feel the design is superb and I really like it being a little different looking than most other synthesizers. I hope the don't leave this unique-design factor out of the coming products.

i'm pretty sure it's the price... i mean, 600? for a keyboard and joystick, although very stylish, is a lot of money. obviously the SFX60 will be much more succesfull.

let's make a bet about the price they 'll put on the numbered 100 last units, like the sidstations

AHA!

I don't think they can bump the price, since they are most likely discontinuing due to poor sales. $600 for the keys and joystick is hard to swallow. Plus, they don't have the mystique of "no more chips in the world" like they did with the Sid, which helped justify the price hike.

That said, I love the lights above the keys. If the Spectralis doesn't ship soon, I will buy a 2nd SFX-6!

Once all the 500 units are gone, what will be the best MIDI controller to use with the SFX-60?
Would the "Korg Kontrol 49" be a good choice?
