yes, the file area called "science labs" -- then pick the appropriate machine section.
this is my first time to upload a .Syx file to the science area. is it okay to include samples?
definitely. and keep in mind that you must include the samples if you want people to be able to recreate what you are submitting.
also - where do i write the javascript/php code to auto-include the mp3
i don't really understand your question. I would recommend posting the mp3 as a separate file in the appropriate science labs section. if it's over 8 MB though, you will have to host it somewhere else.

I didn't really hear from monoman and I know Wesen is hella busy with his everything. It's fine. Haven't really been inspired lately.
More time to check out what everyone else has done!
i think a lot of people had a hard time coordinating. it was a good experiment, but i doubt we'll be repeating it. some of us can barely find time to work on our own stuff!

for me, the issue was the minute tuning of samples. to my pardner's credit, he allowed me to remove the samples, and work only with MD sounds. except i didnt upload the track on time, cos i am still learning about song sequencing, heh.
