Yeah, to get concurrent drum sounds (two different sounds on the same step) on the MNM requires more than 1 track. I actually sort of like how this limits the complexity of the drum stuff when I do MNM only songs...I end up will a very different style of programming, one that's very conducive to simple, but tight, hip-hop stuff.

Putting an arpeggiator on the Beatbox track is fun too. :-D
Totally different beast from the MD, for sure.

...don't forget about the SID machine. you can parameter-lock whole kits outta that machine. while still being able to work the BeatBox avenue.
thanks for tip on the Arp'ing the Beatbox. gonna try it when i go home....more mayhem!
