What is the font/typeface used for the main header - the pink/red 'Elektron-Users' title?

Ya know, I am reluctant to share this because of the time it took me to find the right font for the new site, but I'm also a big believer in sharing the wealth...

Props actuel! I love the header font!

on the subject of typesetting... anyone see that documentary on Helvetica!? amazing stuff. good soundtrack as well!

yeah Helvetica is a great documentary, even my in-laws really loved it. i heart typography!

Still, the true test for font nerds - do you own a copy of Robert Bringhurst's Elements of Typographic Style?

i do own that one

current E-U was picked with Elektron's retro roots in mind. i really quite love Bifurk, oddly it's been around for a while but has gain some more popularity of late due to some design tutorials using it.

Frutiger is a nice, and certainly should be in any budding graphic designers arsenal, but i think it's a bit overused. One of my favorites has been Gotham, but i think seeing Obama's campaign use it everywhere may require me to find a new font to love.
