We're rolling out the new forum category 'Sandbox' today! The Sandbox is a place to share your patches, sysex, kits, machines, ideas, tips, tricks and show off your chops.

The Sandbox concept was proposed by forum regular and all around site contributor, Allerian. Let's go over quick details:

How is the Sandbox different from the Science Labs? Good question. The Science Labs was designed as a way to for users to better to get to know their machines by creating a restrictive focus. As well as it has a voting/poll component making is a contest.

The Sandbox is just a user playground. No contest, no restrictions, no need to have a admin or moderator setup voting, etc. Anyone can post there sysex, tips, tricks, and then users can give feedback, share thanks and a few might even hate on

So post up, and most importantly enjoy!

Nice idea, maybe a few user collaberations might be an interesting concept given the rather different way we all work?

excellent idea. well this is the place to share these kinds of collaborations. add swap-meet to the list of Sandbox definitions

By the way Actuel (and the rest of the board mods, contributors etc) thanks for the fantastic site you've set up here: I feel the site has massively enhanced the learning curve with my elektron gear and listening to the music of other users has been both influential and inspirational.
