Pardon my naïveté, but what is CNTRL-8P?

Since the Octratrack has announced new features for the Octratrack, I'd like to see them available for the Monomachine:

-LFO designer
-Individual track length/time signature

my apologies if these have been requested before (entirely likely), but after owning and getting to know both boxes, i have really missed certain features on each of them, being:

MD:

• while in record mode, holding a note trig and pressing any of the copy/clear/paste buttons will copy/clear/paste a note (including paramater locks), as with the MM


• holding any of the coy/clear/paste buttons for a couple of seconds will bring up the advanced menu, as with the MM, allowing for copy/past of notes, machines, paramater locks, or all

MM:

• holding function and moving any of the knobs will affect all machines, as with the MD (no better way to do some funky mangling live)


• holding function and pressing tempo will reset to saved state as with MD

Maybe its been said before, and maybe its just me as a new user, but some simple GUI features i would like to see are:


1.on the UW - A wavform display to appear with adjustment to Start, End points, this, in my opinion would make the ROM and especially RAM machines WAY more usefull, as you could quickly set plocks for adjusting these to the segment of the sample you want insted of having to do it by ear lisening to the pattern over and over, a single mono wave form could easily fit in ther top row of 4 params and only needs to show up while your adjusting start end, i know this would take some processing power!

2.Filter graphic could appear in top left square while adjusting filter,like the filter graphic in the master section, it wouldnt obstruct anything only level and bpm and would give instant graph visual of filter freq, q and width for, as it says in the manual these "untraditional parameters"

Chaining the patterns between both by using a better program change usability.

For example: Changing MNM pattern from A01 to A02, the MD changes the pattern
from A01 to A02 as well.

you can do it actually, by sending program change from mnm to md. Or did i miss something?

Yeah, but not synchronous. When i set a PC via parameter lock on the first trig of the MNM, like i have to do pursuant to the manual,the MD only changes the pattern after the "next round".
So the next pattern of the MD is only announcing while the select pattern of the MM is already running.

....or is there a way to do that correctly?

If you do the Pattern Change manually, they will change synchronous...

Here's what I wrote to Elektron support a few months ago:

They have added it to the wishlist. But since this is the official wishlist I'll post it here also
