They're my first and only set of monitors so I don't really have much to compare it to, but I really like the A7s. I find them to be quite accurate and detailed for the most part, especially at lower volumes. They are very much near-field monitors though... the sweet spot feels kind of small to me. It isn't really much of a problem for me though... my gear setup doesn't occupy much more than a mid-sized desk and adjacent rack, but I might feel different if they had to fill a bigger space. In the darkness is a mono mk2 anniversary, MDUW mk2, Korg R3, Nord Micromodular, Minicommand and dubious tube distortion pedal.

Incoming is a mopho which will complete my travel setup as I cant carry anything else home...

Back home is a monomachine sfx6, jomox xbase 09, Evolver desktop and a half full (or empty) Doepfer g6.

That's killer. Powershot, eh? Takes incredible pictures in the dark.

Yeah its a pretty cool bit of kit; way better than my skills can push it, i love it!

Its amazing in good light, in low level light it struggles a bit more as the grain pushes right up as soon as you look at the ISO. Its good if things are still and you can hold the lense open with a low ISO, if not expect grain.
