Elektron MD (Comes in the mail Monday!)
Access Virus TI2 Desktop (Got this to use with Tenori-On, sound for each midi channel)
Akai MPC 5000 (This thing is amazing)
Yamaha Tenori-On (Use it as a midi controller, not into the sounds)
Korg KP3 (For the delay and stutter)
Korg Electribe R MKII (I like to pitch shift the drums up into video game sounding melodies)
Mac Book Pro (For arranging stuff in Live/etc)
Motu Ultralite MK3 (I use it with my computer... but also by itself as a digital mixer)

Anybody out the from Maryland (US)?

most of the studio pics are here: http://elektron-users.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=28&func=view&id=3461&catid=13&limit=10&limitstart=0

not sure how we ended up with two studio threads, but i'm not surprised. EU-ers like to talk about gear.

**edit**: most of the pics are done because we're all cheap bastards and use free services like photobucket, etc.

i've been away from home and studio for 9 months now (from australia now in nyc) listing my small home studio seems quite boring ( i can't remember anyways ) but the stuff i travel with is : monomachine mkII, macBook running LIVE 7, tenori-on, kaossilator and nintendoDS running GlitchDS. BUT really, i only use the MNM and T-O on a day to day basis.
who cares, and what does this all mean??????

Great to hear that there is actually someone out there using the Tenori-On on a day to day basis! You seem to be a rare breed from what I can tell!

hey THINKTANX, the TO is super fun on the road and great for jotting down ideas. and it's sequencer and Modes allow quite a bit of creative scope. If you're the type of person who likes to play in the park, in a log cabin, on the train OR need an instrument that runs on batteries and fits in a backpack, the TO is pretty good (i'm so over making tunes on a laptop). It is NOT a monomachine, and it is toy-like BUT I've been on the road for 9 months and the TO has really been a friend while away from the studio.
I know serious musos often dis the TO.
life is too serious and whatever floats ya bout i say!
