Funny how most everyone around here has now sold their Blofeld's: PT, JS, and Actuel, possibly others I don't know about.

I got one ages ago
It's actually very nice, you just have to find it's sweet-spot and you're on!
It's a little noisy but nothing terrible (though I've read that they're all different in the noise dep.)

Anyways, it's pretty cool little compressor, got it for ca. $20 on ebay
(good as a master comp)

yeah, i can't speak for the others but i really liked the Blofeld's sound but not the menu diving. if they every repackage the Blofeld in a keyboard version or with more knobs i'd be interested again. great sounding synth though.

batni still has hers. . . but she never sells aaaanything. =P

I sold it because with the ti and the blofeld, it was overkill. I don't want that many polysynths. i know they both have different sounds, but i would have to learn both. personally, i liked the interface on the blo more than the ti, but the ti's sound and effects kill -- it's just a far more sophisticated (and concomitantly expensive!!) machine.

i did get sad when i packed the blo up and almost reconsidered, but i know that she is going to a good home, to someone who is really excited to get her.

there're just too many fun things out there. . . and now i've discovered guitar pedals! =O

I'd snag that snowfield in a second if it had an input instead of the USB port (USB->Audio in hack anyone?)

I'd love to get access to all those filters

I found a functional Din-sync 24 - Midi hack on eBay (powerless!)

Sounds interesting I might pick one up..

So, I've totally changed up my shit. Got the TI a couple of days ago. I gotta get a two-tier keyboard stand. The bottom shelf is gonna have my SFX-6, as it does now. On the top shelf I'm gonna put a shelf with my 777 and TR-909 on it. I really wanna get a keyboard stand with rollers. Anyone heard of such a thing?

Cheers!

Incoming:
Drawmer 1968 valve compressor
I really wanted a pair of Distressors, but realized it was just too much money..

What about the API 2500??

No worries though, the Drawmer is a great compressor too!
