What parameters does the new rom-machines have? Somehow I've thought that they don't have decay parameter at all, just the hold-envelope.
I would miss the decay, since I find it a must for the snarerolls, and adjusting drumhit lenghts to the tempo. Decay is also very cool for making variations for different snare and hihat hits.It has decay, no worries. The 8 Loop ROM machines also have endless decay at setting 127. It does what it says: Endless decay. If a sound doesn't stop playing due to this setting yuo can press stop twice to make it stop.
I am @ work now so can't check the other parameters but i remember they include sample start and stop position, the repeat thing is also there (2 parameters), Pitch off course, SRR (Sample rate reduction) and some other thing i can't remember atm.
Basicly the parameters you have with the E12 machines.
