Am I the only one who thinks it's a bit sad we don't have Science labs for the SidStation? Would anybody else be interested in doing them? I think it would be an excellent chance to get to know the good ol' Sid better.
I suggest the rules look something like this:
SidStation Science Lab #1 - osc: triangle.
Programming:
* Make one table patch using only the triangle oscillator.
* You're allowed to use all 65 steps and all three channels.
* All internal effects are allowed.
* DC knobs 1-4 cannot control oscillator type.
Recording:
* Do a live recording of the table, - minimum 1 min long.
* Trigger with C4 only, - multiple trigging is allowed.
* You may use all four DC knobs for real time tweaking.
* No editing of the recording and no external FX allowed.
* Upload the recording as mp3 and the patch sysex to participate.
What do you guys think, is it doable?
