Hey all,
I'm loving my OT!
And am thinking about picking up an MD SpS1MK2.
...but it was realeased a few hers ago now, I'm feeling like a new drum machine might be put out...
I'm currently playing the OT and Spectralis2 in a duo with my partner running synths (Korgs ans Roland's). I could easily add more layers and am loving working with live sequencers.
........so should I wait for a bit or just pick up the standard MD?!

I have to order elektron gear, no local shop stocks them.
I know I'll like it... Just feel like a new drum machine might turn up soonish.
I just sold a bit of gear (oberkorn) and am ready for a new addition.
The SPS1MK2 is a good price right now.

Probs a no brained right, just wondered what others thought a possibility of a new drum machine from Elektron

How about buying a cheap and fun option like the new KORG VOLCA Beats while you wait for elektron to come out with their new drum machine?

That's exactly what I was wanting to discuss...
I thought a new MD might be round he corner (ish)
If not ill just grab a classic MD not the UW.

The price just jumped up in Australia

I find that once you load in a pile of 64 sample chains, the OT is kind of the best drum machine ever... you don't really need anything else.

I thought Elektron recently hinted at the end of the MD.

I'd say if you can afford to wait a while then do so.
