Was half way through typing this when I fluked the answer by pure chance. Thought I'd post anyway incase any other noobs have had the same problem....

Had my Octatrack for 3 weeks now and while plenty of things have baffled I've found answers for pretty much everything to date but one thing has me tearing my hair out.
Im trying to get into the MIDI side of things. I plugged my Miniak in and can send/receive notes fine. However, when I record a note, upon playback it is transposed one note down. I've tried all my midi gear and the same issue applies. Just can't work it out!!! Any ideas?

Anyway, the answer, I had mucked about with the arpreggiator and had changed its key. This had a knock on effect for all notes recorded whether using the arp or not! Now back to making music, or at least trying to.
