Hello all !

Do you think is better to have 2 OT or 1 OT + a MD UW ?

Any suggestion much appreciated

Unless you really want synthesis, the OT sequencer is nicer IMO.

The OT can be a great drum machine. I would personally love 2

I'll always pick variety first.

The OT is my deserted island piece of gear. The MDUW has a certain je ne sais quoi about it.

I sold my MDUW to finance a second OT, no regrets.

MD + (2) OT

I been using 2 Ot's for awhile now....Love it

Although I'm thinkn I might selling one to fund more Eurorack

Buying my 2nd OT on Friday.

OT + MD
MD does percussions and drums in a way that the OT just can't do.
It has 16 tracks of percussive sounds that you can P-lock in a variety of ways that the OT is not designed for. You could even get a UW version and don't feel like you're doing the same things as on a OT.
Besides.. it's a classic!


ps. Love the OT as well! I got one as long as an A4.
Strangely enough, the OT right now does only wacky samples manipulation of "outer" source material (Kaoss, iPad, Radio and found sounds): no drums, no synths.

i just sold my MD SPS 1 MK 2 ....

And I think i am going to buy a second OT.

I will have then 2 OT, 1 MNM, 1 303, 1 MOPHO and an IPAD as a midi controller.....

Loose my time to create a kick ?

I can have the best kick on tape from the best drum machine ever on the OT if I need....

And no more laptop then !

I'm with chad@pa on this: OT + MD, variety; I don't think I own two of a kind of any gear! Even my cojones are a little different and unique
