PGM change on OT like on MnM? 10 Years, 9 Months ago

Hello
I was using the MnM as my main sequencer and decided to move to the sequencer of the OT.
Some cool differences but I'm facing this problem: I used to be able to p-lock the midi program change (i.e. channel # of my Tetra) with the MnM.
It seems that the OT can't p-lock program change or bank change like the MnM.
It even doesn't send the program #...
Anybody having a way to go around that?

Yeah the OT midi sequencer is a bit less useful because of this, no workaround either, needs changing.

That was something fun with the MnM, p-locking all different programs...
I'm trying to record cc messages from the Tetra into the OT, and they don't talk.
Well the OT has some other great fun potential!

It's true you can't plock a program change in the OT, but you can do program changes none the less.In a live setting, when I needed a program change I would simply load in a double of the pattern with that program change in the midi section added. That way, nothing changes, but as soon as the pattern is loaded the program change gets loaded too. Yes, you lose a pattern, but for me that's not really a big deal with 16 banks of 16 patterns.

Nice work around. I have been burning a part for program changes. I'd much rather burn a midi track.
