Hi,

Is there any way you can mute and unmute an fx on an octatrack track?
I know you can just put a none fx if you don't want any fx, but what I want is to keep my effect and it's settings but just bypass it temporarily.

No direct mute/bypass.

You could set up a scene that zero mix/send for effects and opens up any filters

I would use another part with empty effects slots and just load a new part.

I emailed HQ a while back with a request for something like FUNC+EFFECT 1/2 to toggle effects (in the same way you can hit FUNC and T1-8 to mute tracks). They weren't convinced

Using a scene is surely a really easy way to do it. You could just set scene 16 as standard to 0 mix on all effects.

Or you can just wack the send level on the effect down to zero manually, if you want to mute one effect...?
