errrrrrr, elektron if you are reading,
the 64 steps sequencer update is more then welcome (read urgently needed) on the older version MD.

It is actually the only one thing that buggers me in the machine, its 32step too short sequence mode

So please update for this, and i am sure a bunch of users wouldbe very happy ))
(such update would make for an excellent xmass present heheh)

The biggest question imho is if the old MM can use the new OS and replace the wavetables.

I also like to know if the MKII's use the same DSP engines? It looks like they only have more memory?

That can be important for future updates? and maybe a reason to sell my old ones?

don't be sad Nils, Elektron has maintained that they're always at work on new products. i believe these upgrades are also out of necessity some parts not being available, etc. it was a logical move given their position

Definitely. I have yet to see Elektron make a stupid move.
And I guess there are things in the works, as always.

Have you signed up to be an Elektron Friend? I believe you had to be signed up their site beforehand. If you have done this already, go to their site, go to Friend and Login with your username and password. presto!

I'm sorry your upset ens but Elektron is not Roland. That's like me saying your father is George Bush...because they're both men and have kids, its a gross generalization imo.

i wonder if we'll see a flood of "mk1's" on ebay now??

SELL SELL SELL!
Everything must go!

It might be time to ditch the SFX-6 for a nice slim 60 MKII. I wonder if it would look strange next to the MDUW "Classic"...? Humm...we need more details.
