I wasn't sure based on the map of Elektron users. I'll start thinking what could be organized in the next few weeks, and where...as most of you are in SF I'm wondering if we should do something with Robot_Speaks in the Haight.

Robotspeak no longer carries Elektron they dropped the brand a while back. The owner is a great guy and he might be willing to rent us time at his shop for a workshop.

What are you guys looking to get out of the meetup and are you willing to bring any of your gear to the event? Do any of you have or know of a a studio that can fit 4-6 ppl comfortably?

I'm going to look for venues this week. If Robot Speak isn't an option then another possibility is renting a rehearsal room at Guitar Center, or there's a few art galleries here in Oakland that are muso-friendly. I'm thinking about bringing my OT or A4, possibly both.

As for what's involved, I'm thinking a mix of sharing tricks and tips, performance or jam session if people are into that, and a social dimension, which may involve

I also have a friend who lives in SF who is also an Elektron head that might be interested.
