I got the NI Kerri Chandler's Kaoz for Maschine then feed my MD with some of It's samples. My md is ok for chord trigs but... Kinda wish i had the OT for samps n MM or A4 for chords...

I work more in the realm of techno but the Mono has several ensemble engines that are perfect for chord lines. Set-up a minor chord and go to town. Plenty of timbres to work with and very easy to sequence using only a single voice too!
I find the Mono also to be great for bass lines. Beyond simple filtered square waves the FM engines are perfect for deep bass lines.
I started with the A4 and sold it to get the Mono since I felt I could get more timbres out of it. Was very happy with the swap. Will probably get an A4 again since it sounded great for analog vibes and has better effects. Problem with the Elektron gear is once you start you end up wanting them all.

tell me about it...
In less than 6months I got the OT, A4, and SIDStation. I know have all 5 machines. Certainly I have interest in other synths and stuff, but I often ask "What can piece of gear X do that the Elektrons can't???"
good poly analog is the only thing I've found Elektron isn't at yet...
