still, as bloody OT noob i didn´t get how it´s done exactly.
so it´s about static machines (one shot), right?

tried to replicate last night, watched the vid n-times, but still ending in an epic fail.
pressing yes does nothing, not in rec mode neither in play.

could some helpful soul elaborate in terms of a walk through?
must have missed something...

it´s clicking slowly - one shot TRIGS it is. hm. have to try again.

Try this:

-Setup a single bassdrum sample on a track and put some triggers on it (say 1,5,9,13: standard four to the floor beat)

-Now hold function and press one of these triggers. This turns a normal trigger into a one-shot trigger.

-Play the pattern two times (let it loop).


-On the first loop the one-shot trigger should play.

-After that first loop it should not.

-hit [YES]: the trigger plays again, but only one time, until you hit [YES] again.

last night while watching i didn´t realize skab is hitting the FUNCTION + YES, but also i didn´t put the right triggers in anyway.

works like a charm now.

@Alep, glad you got it working. After I made the vid I realised I had completely forgotten to mention how to make a one-shot trig. IRL I'm a teacher, and I'm supposed to understand the pedagogical process. Anyway, I gave myself a big slap for that one.

i think those videos are pretty clear for who knows OT fair enough.....i mean....enough after the manual and some time spent on the machine...there are also a compiled tips manual and the "OT Thoughts" in the FILE area that come really useful.
