This thread is proof that this forum needs a report post button for sorting out this spam issue we've been seeing recently

I would really like it if patterns could selected via MIDI notes like the Machine Drum.

After a few hours tweaking/mucking around last night; these should really be available already:

- A4 to be able to send/receive program change / pattern change messages. (This really should already be in there)
- A4 to have midi mapping of patterns ala MachineDrum

And some inital wants:

- Secondary (mirror) function button in some circumstances; e.g.:

GLOBAL+ TRACK 1 would mute/unmute the same way as FUNCTION+ TRACK 1 does now.

Thus allowing one handed track muting; one handed tweaking etc. I *think* GLOBAL should be able to utilised as the Function button in all circurmstances bar when doing FUNCTION+ GLOBAL

- Per track lengths / time signatures

- Step Record mode

- Pattern level mutes

- A4 to have more effects; nick some from the Octatrack; whilst we are on the subject... Octatrack to have the effects (particularly Reverb) from the Analog Four.

- Sound Randomise (always fun)


Edit: A few hours only so far; so I may not know how to do one/some of the above

Or a Quick Mute mode like the OT/MD/MnM.

that's already there, missing is per track multipliers.

Pitch tracking on the LFO's.

I don´t know if I´m just missing something, but I just tried loading the free sound packs for the A4 and I couldn´t figure any way to load the sounds but loading then one by one - extremely tedious! Is there no way to load a folder of sounds? If not, that is very high on my feature wish list.
