I finally got off my ass and signed up with SoundCloud but I couldn't work out how to upload to the Science Lab group yet.

I had fun extracting various percussion sounds without totally losing the original screamy sound, so I just threw together a little rhythmic groove using unequal track pattern lengths and LFOs.

Good thing I recorded it...I accidentally trashed most of the project without saving in the OT

Used the Arranger for this and was pretty happy with the work flow having not really used Song Mode (as i like to call it....) except doing MnM and MD stuff.

You inspired me to not do a soundcloud, but youtube presentation! I just ordered a small tripod clip for my new iphone (the camera is better than my camera's camera.. ) So when that comes in, I'll do a video and perform the scenes and some minor tweaks.. more of a challange, but excellent in getting to know the octa further.

Fantastic work from everyone here, let's keep it rolling 'till the end of the world!

Just for fun , as gekkehelm is recorded in the OT ,
I let it play ,on 3 different tracks where one used is a one shot track that plays free
the 2 others are slices and tweaks of the same wave
and also again on R1 to record the OT main out
wave was edited as in the fade out was edited in the OT
I pushed stop in the end shrubbery had to fix that

thinking about starting to use the OT as a multi tracker like the vs 880 only I can record
max 5 , 40 min which is pretty okay for a song
Gonna make me a new one this is fun

Nice, although I think I'd prefer it without the drums/perc as I think you have some real nice texture there, drones FTW
