actually taking a closer look, it looks like it's higher in the back then it is the front, meaning the face of the unit appears slanted (like tempest, blofeld etc )

Re:Sounds Analog to Me 11 Years, 6 Months ago
yeah a polyphonic syntheziser with analog vco's ripped out a old polysix ! does it have the crumar DS2 filter or does it have 4 x 64 note polyphony , a ninja turtle???
why should i not sell my mono to get this poly thingy ???
there is room for VA/FM/SID & Analog within a setup, not to mention 4 voices isn't exactly huge in this day & age... in short keep your MnM..at least till full specs are released

because DSI politics is to build cheap analog stuff, what means worst sound quality
yeah, they´re still analogo but the sounds sucks IMHO
Dave Smith ever since he got in the game with the P5 in 1978 has been about using surface mounted technology in his analog synths, in order to increase polyphony and features while remaining affordable. there is just no way DSI could put out analog products with such features as let's say the prophet 08 using discrete VCO's like Moog without costing 10 times as much. it doesn't mean the sound quality is bad either, just more stable giving it perhaps a more digital sound. getting back on topic, it'll be interesting to see what elektron opt for being rather exclusive to the digital domain up till now..
Thinking of the Analog Four concept so far. I don't know if it is mentioned before but matrix patching such as the EMS Synthi would be major awesome. Also in a way that you could expand external with a modular synth system.
