I'm also guessing analog (or at least hybrid) Monomachine (or Polymachine). Vents kind of suggest something hot inside - analog? although it could also be for some serious digital horsepower. Also I noticed there are 10 data encoders (A - E on top, and F - J below). Maybe it's just an Elvis impersonation synthesizer?

This should be interesting if this really is a 6 voice polysynth. I hope it also has CV in too. Was hoping for a pure FX Elektron box. I guess its just a matter of time before we find out.

HQ would have to be shits to encourage you complete the trinity only make one redundant a month later with a mk 3. I don't think they are shits. It will be complementary to the trinity. Or nothing like the picture.

I really hope they won't will forget to update the OT record midi length etc.

But it looks like the machine will have some kind of cv interaction, elektron looked closely at the setup of OT and MD users in youtube or vimeo-videos, many analog stuff in there

It really does look like an updated version of the monomachine. With the progress of DSP processing power this doesn't really surprise me.


Perhaps this machine will do more than mono voices?

Also if elektron are bringing out updated versions of their machines does that mean we shoudl expect a machinedrum 2013 soon? I for one hope so. Something that sounds as good as FXpansions Tremor please
