I'm very happy to see this compilation come true. I think Ryans goal regarding the elektron-users was to estabish a social community that would raise above what is usually a state of internet communities. Putting this release out without his help is ultimately a proof of his success - elektron-users is alive! I'm sorry you didn't see this friend, but at the same time I feel warm, because I know you succeeded.
