Re:Trinity CC chart 11 Years, 7 Months ago
Im looking to buy a midi controller for the Monomachine, if OP or anyone else can answer some questions i have it would be greatly appreciated.

Can the bitstream 3x control different midi channels all at once? Im wanting to get a controller to play with different parameters from each track on the MnM.
If theres a better controller for just that im curious of it, because the bitstream 3x seems really deep.

Otherwise thx for the document very appreciated.

Twofax - All the controls can affect different midi channels & you can chain controls so moving only one can control multiple parameters on several midi channels, up to 65 according to the manual! The cool thing is that the CC values can be opposite values too so you get a crossfader effect!

Pseen - Don't really use a generic template on the bitstream as different tracks require different things, at least for me anyway. It's very easy to do tho if that's what you want.
Just ref the CC chart with the bitstream config software.
Use tab 'User & Mackie & Logic'.
Change user defined to whatever CC you want.
Now under channel it will say bs3x channel but won't allow you to change it!
Go to Midi Channel position N & change this from 1 to 0.
Now you can input the desired midi channel

Updated CC Chart here with some basic sysex strings. If anyone can tell why they don't work with the MD I'd appreciate it
Cheers

Hi there,

I have a newbie question... because Newbie I am !

I'm working on a custom-made case/patch for trinity, including an 8 track firewire soundcard and in-line mixer. Then I will get much more into the machines ans start playing music.

Anyway my big question is: how can we command the machines to start from the computer? I would lke to write a midi note on the score that starts the machines. Is it possible?

A variation on the same question: is there any "metronome" on the market that can send midi? Like you enter a tempo and signature, then the box sends the right midi note on every bar or measure.

Thanks a lot for your expertise

Frank
