I don't know if this counts as bad trading exactly, but Baloo just pulled out of a deal to buy my Pro One, after I spent days getting it very safely packed to send from the UK to Spain. He even sent me his address, and wanted to know how to pay me.
This is very common, I know, but I rarely get the opportunity to respond and explain my frustration with this type of buyer.
Potential buyers should not be hasty in their decisions. Just be honest, tell the person you're still thinking about it, or tell them that you want to buy their item but that if another comes along that's a better option you're going to go with that.
That way you give the seller the option to sell it to someone else in the meantime.
Big shout out to Tyrone The sydney-sider PM'd, rang, haggled and got himself a Monomachine that will be winging it's way to him today from Tassie. He paid within minutes. He's solid!
Another big shout out to antonborisov Contacted me about several items, worked out a deal and as above, paid within minutes. Even made a second, seperate payment due to a misunderstanding about shipping and paid THAT within minutes. He's got himself a mopho, mpc1000 and some novation rack gear heading his way to Russia with love. Solid buyer and great communicator.
Shout out to Anton, real cool and friendly dude with good communication skills and fast shipping of the machinedrum mkii uw which arrived as promised in good packaging and was fully functional after a factory reset.
