Wondering how many have a dedicated set/project setup soley for manipulating live sound.

I am thinking about something like this:
MPC stereo outs fed into OT inputs A & B
Aux send from mixer into OT inputs C & D

Track #1 on the OT a "THRU" machine for the MPC
Track #5 on the OT a "THRU" machine for the mixer

Tracks #2 and #6 would be neighbor machine for applying effects

Track #3 and #7 would be dedicated sampling tracks for the MPC and mixer respectively
Track #4 and #8 would be for the playback of the captured sound

Without going into the details of effect chains/assignments, I feel this could be a great template to start from... especially for live recording/performing.

Anyone else in a similar boat? I'd love to hear how you have your OT setup.

Yes, this is my live setup:


Audio: There's an OT, a G2 Engine, and a little Rolls mixer.
G2 Main Outs--> Mixer Ch. 1
OT Cue outs-->G2 Aux Ins-->G2 Aux Outs-->Mixer Ch. 2
OT Main Outs-->Mixer Ch. 3

MIDI: There's OT, G2 Engine, Remote Zero, and iphone w/ Missing Link.
OT MIDI Out-->Missing Link hardware input
iphone-->Missing Link wireless input
Missing link output-->Remote Zero Input
Remote Zero Output-->G2 Input
G2 Output-->OT Input

The MIDI is a bit complicated, but the OT's MIDI output, plus iphone's MIDI, plus Remote Zero's MIDI are all added up and sent to the G2 to sequence and to get MIDI remapped and sent to the OT.

So, yeah, that's one way. I love it.

Can you give an example of your midi chain flow from/to the OT?
