i'll ask glaive about this in the morning, but i'm pretty sure this is on the server side (our host)...nothing to do with the site upgrade. i got that error a few times this evening as well.

neonleg -> That's the first report of that I've gotten. I haven't noticed that issue from my side. Let me know if it persists (you could have been getting it during a period of high server load), and we'll track down the source.

Here's why my hosting provider just sent out to all users:

There will be some emergency downtime of the mail server tonight
between 10 and midnight EST (3 to 5 GMT) while I switch the database it
uses over to a different server. This switch should only take about 10
minutes, but it will happen sometime between 10 and midnight. A few
people have reported having issues with their websites and email
clients. This is happening because the database server on the current
server is a bit overloaded.

... so that explains a probable cause.

yeah, that was a handy feature. when we migrated the "Recent Topics" to the sidebar that must have gotten trimmed out of the code. i will look into possibly adding the "More Topics..." into the new sidebar block.

divi, not sure if you caught this post a page back but the "More" feature while no longer incorporated with the Recent Topic block is gone but there's another excellent way to enjoy that feature plus more:

Just go to the Forums via the horizontal nav, you'll then see an overview of all the Forum categories, over to the right you'll see "Main Options" by hovering above it you can select "read unread topics". There's a handful of other nifty features there too.

eventually, "more..." may make it back to the Recent Topics module but for now the Main Options works great.

I don't seem to be able to unsubscribe from any threads, either through the notifications page or with the controls at the bottom of each thread. I uncheck the notify box and hit submit but it doesn't have any effect.
