Did you notice the tekkeon battery has a dedicated charging port labeled "sunbooster solar charging port"?

Also using the 3450i for OT, works great for hours, love the freedom.

I actually have a few now, going to run my live rig off battery.

this is awesome! I've been looking for such a thing a long time...I had found something that needed a car battery to work (it actually converted the 12v to 220v) but never got to buy it/try it out.
this is a way much better solution. one could make a gig in the park with something like this and there won't be the hassle of the car battery

Soooo, anyone brave enough to try the Tekkeon battery with their new A4??? I've been wary, though it looks like the battery can handle it...would just need to flip some of those DIP switches for 12V? I love using my Elektrons through my car speakers at work during lunch break...best Elektron accessory ever

Sooo, can anyone report success battery powering their A4?

I couldn't resist, so I tried it shortly after I got my A4...works perfectly. All you've gotta do is change the little jumper switches on the back to 12v and you're good to go. I use one battery between the A4, Md and Ot, so I've got to remember to change the switches depending on what I'm using. I bring my Elektrons to work regularly for use at lunch. Battery power is such a huge plus for me...gear that can be powered via battery gets on ton more use, both at home on the couch and at work during lunch. Essential!

Thanks, that's good news. Now I just need to find a cheap place to buy one in the UK
