^ would this even work?
Is the MD AC? I can't remember... in Oz i think we're 240v AC... or DC. I can never remember.
Anyway, if you get one indigo then let us (me) know. I'd love one.

All the mk2's are the same power supply... right?

if so, then if it works with one then it will work with all the mk2's (and the OT i assume).

Dunno about mk1

mkI units use an AC supply so laptop batteries will NOT work

(but a diesel generator would if you want to carry that around

The MkII devices expect 6 volts, which is not one of the output options in the Tekkeon. It is possible that the 5V output would work, but you'd have to try it.

'The MkII devices expect 6 volts, which is not one of the output options in the Tekkeon'

Not correct, it does have 6V.

Apart from the brand, this is the exact battery I use. Been using for a few months now. Train/plane journeys and coffee shops. Totally solid on my MnN mk2.

i can confirm tekkeon 3450i r2 works great with the octatrack
no issues, heaps of battery life too even running headphones for at least 6hrs.

the 3450i is designed to run this sort of equipment, the 3450 not so much - untested as yet but i do have one here, probably use it to power the 9v roland stuff

thanks to the original poster for the heads up

did you try charging these with a solar panel type of charger like they sell in outdoor gear shops for chargin your stuff when out in the backcountry? solar driven music is pretty cool.. i got a solar battery for my QFO once.. i could skratch all day in the park and it lasted be about 4 and a half hours into the night..
