I think the ability to internally resample and retweak is one of the highlights of the OT, it seems a shame to exclude that functionality and to not show off the extreme audio processing that can be accomplished using multiple passes. For sharing purposes, perhaps the resampled audio could be named as such? As far as cheating is concerned.. why bother?
Perhaps we could allow ONE internal mixdown of a maximum bar length that would be allowed to occupy up to two tracks in the final mix? Either way, it will still be fun!
About sharing the source files, yes it would be wise for everyone to create an AUDIO folder in the project directory and place all samples there. This will make it easy to share your project file.

Presuming that internal resampling is permitted, do we make an exception to allow external editing of resampled audio files to trim off the first 100ms of audio? For anyone who doesn't know what I am talking about, the 100ms is the latency (according to my measurement) introduced when recording from an internal source on the OT. Hopefully this bug will be fixed soon anyways..
No external editing: we all have to work with the same bugs

Unless there's something I don't understand, can't you trim the sample in the OT's sample editor?
