@amanita man, I loved your swamp. Resampling definitely for the win. I was about 2:15 in before I started hearing the resampling structure. Very organic and trippy in a way that would be so hard to program in without fractals.

Any tips on how to get over "fear of recording in one take"? I can jam away and have the perfect relaxed groove going but as soon as I press record, I become intent on not making any mistakes and inevitably make mistakes and the performance sounds forced! Maybe I should make this only one minute long! meh!

p.s this science lab seems kinda disorganized. the pertinant info is on page 4? and there is still no place for us to upload the audio and project files? time is running out.. no pressure

The best bet is to just record all the time and forget you are recording. Then cut the good bit out

yea, I would normally do that, and some cut and pasting but I don't think we are supposed to for the science lab project.. raw skillz baby! lol

For my first one I actually just pressed Play and recorded the output

Second one I 'played' the Patterns and recorded it live.

No problem here with taking the best bit of a longer recording.
