Ok folks -- who's interested in an OT science lab? If there are enough people who are interested, we can set one up.

Personally, I was thinking about making the inaugural OT science lab fairly ridiculous -- as in limiting everyone to 1 or 2 drum samples tops (or maybe go up to 5). why that extreme? because you can get pretty inappropriate with an 808 conga and turn it into a synth soundscape, that's why.

So who's interested? let us know! Also feel free to post your suggestions about what the OT science lab should entail. . .

Me! I wondered about an OT vs MDUW since lab... see how far both sets of machines users could take the same sample set.

I'd certainly be interested in an OT science lab.

How about we all use the same 2 (or 3) samples?

That would be a good way to get deep and creative with the mangling capabilities and be amazed with what everybody can come up with the same 2-3 samples...

Oh yes -- that's what I meant. Apologies if that wasn't clear. That's usually the point of the Science Labs -- everyone starts with the same tools, then asplosions!
