As much as the MD+MnM is a nice team... I really am starting to feel the MDUW + a lil mono module or something. MDUW+X0X or FutureRetro Revolution? I'm actually kind of in shock because of how awesome some of this vocal/ambient-weirdness is coming from the UW. That's what I've been missing!

Simple, gorgeous and quite erotic.

I ordered a turntable and preamp yesterday to experiment with the same; I'll let you know next week how it goes. And please do check out Allerian's stuff.

I put up a couple of things at Soundcloud. Neither of them use the turntable. That little piece of Joy should arrive tomorrow. And then we'll see what we shall see!

I though I had referenced that yet: 4am.

I think it features only two vocal loops I recorded right in the MD. Then I mangled them.
The ping-ish pattern is a mistake while live reocrding. I decided to keep the track as raw as possible...

I like 4:00 a.m. Usually asleep at that time so it's nice to hear what is happening in the waking world.

I've had the turntable for 3 days now and am finally getting around to conjoining the same with the MD.
The first 3 days were spent, aside from eating drinking and sleeping, reacquainting myself with some old friends. I have many of my old records on mp3 but I've missed the good old snap crackle that was/is as much a part of those songs as the music itself. Made a really cool sample on live8 using the end of a song, needle back and forth on the sides side. Added a little phase and found a tune!

I've used a Leonin Kyrie and mixed it up...
