Here's a picture. Can't really see the cheeks though.. The Macbook is on one of those DJ laptop stand things and the MachineDrum fits very nicely below.

Any thoughts on which colors look best?

I am thinking about ordering 3 sets for my MD, MnM, OT... black maybe?

Do the machines slide around with the cheeks?

Can't really imagine my machines at an angle, but the pictures look great!

they don't move for me - or anyone else i have talked to. the design is meant to work with the natural weight of the units and keep it pretty solid.

I second that emotion. No movement.
I sold my MD and the cheeks along with. But if I had another MD, I'd immediately buy another set of cheeks. And I'd pay $35 easy. It's a steal.

Say it isn't so! You must re-acquire your MD!!

It so. Painful painful.
I sold it to a worthy buyer, who will get more better use out of it than I did. I don't get a lot of time to make my music, an when I do I inevitably go straight to the modular synth. When I make percussions, I usually end up making the sounds on the synth and sequencing them in software just cause it's "easier."
That and I've ignited a new passion for guitar. I'd like to get a tube amp... Don't judge.

But do buy qu.one's cheeks.

Can someone confirm the screw sizes (again) for me?

I saw M3 x 6mm quoted but surely 6mm is not long enough if the cheeks themselves are 8mm thick?

Or is it me being (8mm) thick?

I just bought a set of transparent cheeks for my soon-to-arrive MM. Mine are 3 mm thick.
