What is the quickest way to transpose a pattern of a machine a entire octive up, or down?

on which machine - the Mono?

go to the transpose menu - select either pattern or track, then adjust up to 12.

if you're using Song mode you can just tell the MnM sequencer what value you want to transpose and when.

i'd love to have a possibility to change a whole octave while in playback. not like you have to do now; scroll through all the notes in the octave...
would be useful in live use.

I usually just copy and paste a pattern transposed to get that effect - but it would be more space effecient to have a control like that. Maybe making use of the sequencer keys? Like hit number 12, and thats an octave?
