Hello 19 Years, 2 Months ago
Hey - just joined the board here - man, its nice to be in the company of other Machinedrum users - I can tell you that there are none where I come from! (Burlington, VT USA)

There is some stuff on my website with MD all over it - I just got it a few months ago, and I just love it! Nice hard hitting simple to use drum box.

Anyway - my site is www.milkmansound.com if you are interested. My user name would have been milkmansound but for some reason you can not choose a name that long.

peace - Tim

I went with the default username length for Xoops (this software). They probably limited the uname lengths so there wouldn't be weird formatting problems down the line.

Anyway, watch this guy, he pwns the livepa.org forum!

MD TRX open hihat weird behaviour 18 Years, 10 Months ago
Hello, I posted this on the Yahoo! user group and I was told I would have a better chance here:

hello,

is it me, or are the trx open hats sound weird when you set the decay to
max? it sounds like it's being 'forwardreverse' looped, as it's
volume decays and then comes back up again. i've tried playing with the
gap and decay controls, and inspecting the lfo settings, but no luck.
is this really the expected behaviour of an analog open hat?

your thoughts please

well i personally feel there should be an option. but it really isnt the right behaviour of a hihat or any hihat (unless one wants it to sound like that, in which case you could use an lfo->volume). the efm hats dont do that...
