Shift pattern in md 11 Years ago
I googled but could not find a way. I'd like to have the pattern shift x steps in different directions. I think this is only possible in song mode.

Is the only way to copy and paste each step?

you cannot shift entire patterns, BUT you can shift individual tracks of a pattern.

1. press record to put yourself into RECORD mode
2. press FUNCTION and use the left and right arrow keys to move the track.

Thanks man, I'll try it out. I don't mind doing it for every track. I find myself making grooves and then I realize my groove evolves to the start of the beat to feel on the second of third 1/4 step... I can't be the only one
