Can't get out of Demo Mode 11 Years, 3 Months ago
Help i Can't get out of demo mode, I've tried inserting the CF card. Reseting back to Factory. upgrading to latest OS

If i enter the CF card Demo mode is still active, pressing exit or does't work, powering off and on still it goes back into demo mode

Help this things just arrived and my customer experience is going downhill fast

If i insert the CF card it sticks on a screen that displays

DEMO MODE



Playback>static =01-09

None of the numbered buttons respond, but if i press play / Function / Pattern / Bank / Record / The Animated Giff shows again and rests on the page as described above

I've never seen "demo mode" as I bought mine used with a blank flash card.

Does function+mixer get you to the global settings?

This is what I did to get out of Demo Mode:

1. Turned off Octatrack
2. Plugged in CF card (you did that too - good)
3. Turned on Octatrack
4 Press [FUNCTION] + [MIXER] to open Project Menu
5. Select CHANGE
6. Select
7. Name your new Project and save

Glad you got sorted out man, stuck in demo mode must of been a nightmare, that vocal sample in one of those preset patterns did my tits in for the first couple of days so i just avoided that pattern. Everything was going ok then i did some key combo and the OT stopped dead, winked at me and went into arranger mode with an overdose of that vocal sample
