yeah i was wondering mainly for the 8 voice polyphony.. with proper routing it should be possible to stack a totally off-the hook N-voice polysynth where N is number of A4s times 4.
(quite lusting for a MnM myself, and I agree with the diversity-first sentiment. But I would love to try. Maybe the local music dealer will be up for testing this stuff...)

hm.. if you use USB MIDI, I think you can just plug multiple A4s into the host device (laptop, iPad), and each gets their own 16 channels (provided the host knows how to handle them properly, having the same name etc..). So something like 8 A4s should be possible too.
